In Animal Nutrition, a Hybrid Learning in-person course taught by Professor Christina Wesolek, students visited Pineland Farms.
The purpose of this trip was for students to gain insight into the importance of balanced diets for managing, caring for, and breeding healthy livestock (specifically, dairy cows, calves, and heifers). After this learning experience, students were able to identify significant components of the animal formulation and use this information to create complete and balanced nutritional plans/diets for various species in captive settings.
