During Women’s History Month, we are celebrating the women driving MaineHealth forward through innovation. First up is Susan Ahern, Vice President of Innovation.
Susan provides leadership around fostering a culture of innovation system-wide. Her MaineHealth Innovation Team supports and guides our 22,000 care team members who have ideas that solve our unmet care needs.
Prior to joining MaineHealth, Susan garnered deep experience in international innovation change and leadership. She honed her expertise in diplomacy as a trade commissioner with the Consulate General of Canada; she and her team were recognized globally for the impact they had on innovation and entrepreneurship. Additionally, Susan co-founded four healthcare companies.
