Dillon recently took the Animal Training course at Unity College with Professor Christina Wesolek.
"My name is Dillon Berenty. I was born and raised in New Jersey. With my love of the outdoors, I have found Hybrid Learning at Unity College to be a perfect fit for me.
I recently took Animal Training, taught by Christina Wesolek.
Having no previous knowledge of this field, I thought this would be something new to explore.
I’ve been exposed to many careers in this field through the fieldwork we practiced during this course. Some highlights included working with the Northern Solstice Alpaca Farm, and training ponies at a horse farm.
I can honestly say this was one of my favorite classes I’ve taken. I have since developed a strong knowledge of animal behavior with a better understanding of the animals themselves. This class will definitely help me in teaching others about wildlife in the future."
