The Belfast Public Works Department will begin picking up leaves inside the by-pass area on Thursday, October 20, 2022.
Leaves only are to be placed next to the edge of the street for removal. No limbs, branches or wood material are accepted in the piles of leaves. These items can be taken to the Transfer Station by the property owner. Public Works Department will not be picking up anything other than leaves.
If any Belfast resident would like leaves delivered to their property for composting please call Public Works at 338-2375.
Leaf collection will continue as long as weather permits.
