The University of Maine Hutchinson Center Two new sessions of Restorative Practices with Restorative Justice Project Maine

Two new sessions of Restorative Practices with Restorative Justice Project Maine just announced!  Session I runs Nov. 17–18, Dec. 16, 2022, Jan. 12–13, Feb. 17, 2023, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. ET and Session II runs April 20-21, May 19, June 29-30, July 21, 2023, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. ET. Spots tend to fill up quickly--reserve yours now!

#RestorativePractices have deep roots in indigenous peacemaking and knowledge. Global indigenous communities have a long-standing history of living in alignment with what we now refer to as restorative justice and restorative practices. The indigenous roots of these systems are not monolithic—indigenous communities practice circles and justice in different ways. Part of honoring this work means we must stay humble, knowing that these practices came before us and will outlast us.
