Why is Henry passionate about what he does?
“I come back to nursing day after day because I love people. Working with patients facing addiction and/or mental illness has been eye-opening in many ways. It is hard to witness the suffering caused by addiction and trauma, but when people open up it can feel very gratifying. Patients may seek advice, may wish to share their progress, or may simply want to be heard. Being here for them in these important moments is deeply rewarding.”
