Welcome New Unity College Student Joseph

115e

Tashie is working towards earning a Bachelor's in Wildlife Conservation.

.

"I lived in my whole life in NYC, a Brooklyn native to be specific. I had various jobs in retail before working with dogs. I worked as a dog walker, doing doggy daycare and boarding dogs. I moved to Maine in December 2019.

.

I chose Unity because it offers phenomenal majors that many other colleges don’t offer. This school especially fits my love for animals.

.

I am an undergrad, I originally wanted to major in Marine Biology but I m leaning towards Wildlife Conservation now. I hope the education I will get at Unity will hone my knowledge and skills to help me at being better at contributing back to the ecosystem of animals.

.

My future career goals are to work on anything related to marine biology. I'd love to work rescuing penguins, sea turtles or anything other wildlife. I would also like to help preserve the ecosystem for them. I want to help represent the deaf community in that field since there aren’t many deaf individuals who work in that field. I would love to provide them all amazing accessibility to knowledge without any barriers."
