A ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Freya’s Ice Cream at 7 Main Street, Rockport, was held on Thursday, July 28. The new shop features 12 flavors of gelato and sorbetto, all made on site. The shop is located in Union Hall, directly below Nina June, with a separate entrance on the Main Street hill heading down to the harbor.
The business is the creation of Therese Inman and Garett Reppenhagen of Lincolnville. They are open Thursday through Monday, 11 AM to 8 PM.
