On 7/5/22 Ofc Guba received a call for service involving an injured seagull by the boathouse. We here at the bpd are fortunate to have many officers like Ofc Guba who dedicate themselves to protecting the welfare of Belfast residents (even the non human variety lol.) Ofc Guba walked the beach approximately 300 yards to retrieve the injured animal and carried it back to the boathouse where it was placed in a secure kennel. It is currently at BPD awaiting a ride to Avian Haven. Thank you Ofc Guba for your continued dedication and caring nature to the City of Belfast.
