Welcome new Unity College student Jeremy!
Jeremy is working towards earning a Bachelor's in Wildlife Conservation.
"I am currently active duty Army stationed at Fort Campbell, KY. Originally I’m from Guntersville, Alabama. I’ve been in the military for 12 years, deployed 3 times to Afghanistan, and currently work as an 11B. I love my job. I’ve always had a huge passion for the outdoors. Growing up my parents always took us camping and hunting. Before Unity, I was just doing the day-to-day work thing until my wife got me thinking about the future and I wanted to get a degree in something I would love because if you love what you do then you will never work a day in your life.
The reason I chose Unity is that it’s the best forestry college that I found, plus the different degree paths are certainly a bonus! I’m going to be earning my B.S. in Wildlife Conservation with hopes of being a Game Warden or a Wildlife Biologist.
What I’m hoping to get out of my degree is the knowledge on how to better protect the big game species that we have so that they can be hunted by the youth of tomorrow."
