Deputy Lewis Dyer is a familiar face in the county. He was born in Waldo County and graduated from Belfast Area High School. Deputy Dyer briefly left to attend the University of Maine at Fort Kent. Deputy Dyer graduated with an associate degree in Criminal Justice and returned to help his community by working for the Belfast Police Department. Deputy Dyer was promoted to patrol sergeant during his time with the Belfast Police Department. Deputy Dyer is very excited for his next chapter serving the citizens of Waldo County as a Patrol Deputy.
