Fly the United States Flag at Half- Staff on Thursday, March 24th, 2022 in Honor of Carmine Pecorelli.
The Governor’s Office authorized the lowering of the American Flags in the City of Belfast to honor the life and service of Carmine Pecorelli.
Carmine Anthony Pecorelli passed away on March 18th, 2022 at the age of 96.
Carmine enlisted in the US Navy on June 25th, 1943. He also served in the Air Force and the Army Reserve.
Pecorelli fought and served our nation in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
We are calling on businesses and local officials to please join us in honoring the life and service of Carmine by lowering your Flag to half-staff.
Thank you, Carmine, for your incredible service to our country. Your life will be honored and remembered here in the City of Belfast.
