What makes Nancy proud to be a nurse?
“Through these trying times, I think it is a common thought to ask ourselves why are we still here. It’s healthy to take the time to answer the question thoughtfully. I am here because I believe in the work of the nurse. I believe it is a unique and special profession; one that connects us intimately to the human spirit, and to the realities of the world we live in. We are instruments of healing, compassion and love for our fellow humans. For many of us, being a nurse is not just a job, it’s a calling.”
