Join us for a free two-part Discussion Project with the Maine Humanities Council! Discussions will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, April 20th and 27th via Zoom.
The group will discuss the book, Hunger by Roxane Gay. The New York Times refers to Hunger as a "moving exploration of the ways in which trauma, stories, desire, language and metaphor shape our experiences and construct our reality." Poet, blogger, watercolorist and photographer, Carol Willette Bachofner, will facilitate the discussions.
To join us and receive a copy of the book, email developmentdirector@newhopemidcoast.org or call (207) 691.5969. We look forward to having you with us!
